My most popular image, which I have sold many times is of the landmark Roseberry Topping on the north western corner of the Yorkshire Moors. It took 6 trips over a 4 week period to capture just as I wanted it, blue sky, cotton wool clouds, sunny day, but it was worth the effort. I call it Roseberry Heather as it was deliberately taken whilst the heather was in bloom.
All About ME!
Welcome and thank you for coming along to my site. I have been taking photographs for as long as I can remember, I guess that is around 60 years as I write this, however, all the images here are relatively recent. I was a newspaper man for 34 years, learning darkroom skills and then the digital darkroom of Photoshop before leaving to work for myself in 2004. My main photographic passions are landscapes and railways and I try to combine both in my work. I hope you enjoy what you see.
