My most popular image, which I have sold many times is of the landmark Roseberry Topping on the north western corner of the Yorkshire Moors. It took 6 trips over a 4 week period to capture just as I wanted it, blue sky, cotton wool clouds, sunny day, but it was worth the effort. I call it Roseberry Heather as it was deliberately taken whilst the heather was in bloom.
All About ME!
Welcome and thank you for coming along to my site. I have been taking photographs for as long as I can remember, I guess that is around 60 years as I write this, however, all the images here are relatively recent. I was a newspaper man for 34 years, learning darkroom skills and then the digital darkroom of Photoshop before leaving to work for myself in 2004. I work at my own pace now, which is pretty slow, and I enjoy digging out older images and reworking them as I always seem to be able to make improvements on the first version. I guess that is down to a combination of never being too old to learn and Photoshop continuing to evolve. I hope you enjoy what you see.
